2012 in review

WOW! 2013 is here. Wishing all of you, my readers a wonderful new year filled with health, abundance and happiness..

Here then are the big events in 2012 from the world, from my indian birthplace & from my blog:

1. The world–Dec 21st came & went and the world is still here, we’re bettering ourselves I hope

2. India – Nirbhaya, the brave Indian girl who passed away unfortunately after a terrible molestation raised tremendous awareness on the Indian public justice system and others worldwide

3. My blog-I thought I’d share a  2012 annual report for this blog that The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared:.

Here’s an excerpt from my report:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 4,200 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 7 years to get that many views.

I’ve been trying to share ancient indian recipes with locally available ingredients in Canada. Hope you find them helpful. What  about you? What would you like to see:- gluten free/dairy free/or just plain old gourmet indian vegetarian cooking.. Are my recipes working for you, is my writing style working for you. are my pictures serving the purpose? I’d love to hear from you on what you want to see.. so do pop me a comment in the comments section below..
